|
|
The Gulf is starting to experience the horrible effects of the oil spill. Wildlife is starting to die and the coastline will be contaminated for many years to come. Our VERY FURRY huskies can help to clean up the oil! Hair attracts and absorbs oil and can be used to create mats and hair booms to absorb oil. Please view this web site and consider donating your fur next time you have a husky brushing session. You can also pass this information along to your salon and ask them to participate because human hair is great at absorbing, too.

Shoot! I just bathed them all last week and had tons of clean hair! I wonder if groomers are aware of this. I'll post it to AZCOR so that everyone can let their groomers know. |

The hair does not have to be really clean. It just can't be really dirty. _________________ Brooke Sherow

I just tried and posted the link, too. It showed on the site for about 5 seconds and disappeared. But, on my page it shows that I posted it. Hmmmmm....... _________________ Brooke Sherow

The security is ok - I have it set to allow fans to post on the ASHRA FB wall. Try again. |

Petco had a tweet (on Twitter) today that they are sending like a ton of hair every day for the oil spill. Yeah Petco! _________________ Lindsey S. |
